What we collect

  • Account data: email address, hashed password (or OAuth identity), account creation date.
  • Product context: the company name, website URL, target customer description, keywords, and content links you enter during onboarding and settings.
  • Scan results: URLs, titles, and short text snippets of public Reddit and Hacker News posts surfaced for you, along with our AI-generated relevance scores, sentiment labels, and reply drafts. We never fetch authenticated, private, or login-gated content.
  • Usage metadata: scan timestamps, which leads you accept or reject, which tones you copy. Used to improve relevance over time, never shared.
  • Billing data: handled by Polar; we store only the subscription status and trial dates, not your card number.
  • Contact form submissions: stored to let us reply and triage support issues.

How we use it

Your product context drives the AI search queries and draft generation. Scan results are scoped to your account — no cross-customer data sharing. We do not sell your data, run third-party advertising trackers, or share your account information with anyone outside our processors (Supabase for storage, Polar for billing, OpenAI for classification, Vercel for hosting).

Retention

We retain your data until you delete your account. From Settings you can delete your account at any time — this removes your profile, configuration, scan history, leads, and swipes. Contact form messages are anonymized (your user link is removed) but the message body is retained for audit.

Public-source compliance

LeadsRadar reads only publicly accessible content via official APIs (Reddit JSON, Hacker News Algolia). We honor each platform's published rate limits and never store deleted or auth-gated content. We surface public usernames when they appear in post titles or URLs.

Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data. The fastest path is the "Delete my account" button in Settings. For anything else — data export, correction, or formal DSR requests — email us via the Contact form and we'll respond within 30 days.
